House cleaning in Marrakech, by the day

The calculation fits on one line: the number of days, times the rate for the property, plus any extra people. An apartment is 800 MAD incl. VAT a day; a villa, 1,200 MAD incl. VAT. One person is included each day. Each extra person adds 250 MAD incl. VAT per day.

What we do not sell is a home that is "spotless in three hours". The package matches the number of days and people you choose; priorities and the time needed are confirmed with you, and one day does not guarantee that the whole property is fully cleaned. We say so before you book, not after the visit.

Any extra day or person must be agreed by you before it is invoiced. Nothing is added along the way without your agreement.

Detail by property type: housekeeping for an apartment and housekeeping for a villa.

Routine upkeep, room by room:

• dusting of accessible surfaces
• vacuuming and mopping of the floors
• kitchen: accessible surfaces
• bathrooms: washbasin, shower, toilet
• light terrace upkeep

We bring the equipment and products needed. On site we need water, electricity and access to the surfaces: without water or electricity, the visit cannot go ahead. The rest of our kit is on our equipment, and how a job runs on our method.

Five things are not included in a day of housekeeping, and adding an extra person does not change that:

• specialist window cleaning — that is our windows and shopfronts service, at 75 MAD incl. VAT per window up to 2 m² and 150 MAD incl. VAT per patio door up to 4 m²
• paint or cement residue — that belongs to post-construction cleaning
• stripping
• crystallisation
• textile cleaning — sofas, mattresses and rugs are handled separately, on our upholstery page

These services can be requested alongside the housekeeping: each has its own estimate.

Two situations fall outside standard housekeeping, and the calculator stops them at the second step.

After works — paint, glue, cement or building dust: the request calls for cleaning after building work, priced per m² of indoor area rather than by the day. An empty home being freshened up before you move in is still standard housekeeping as long as no tradesperson has worked in it.

A heavily soiled property, or a major restoration: standard housekeeping does not cover it. Send us photos on WhatsApp and we will make you a tailored proposal rather than a package that would not hold.

You choose, and we check. The calculator asks for the approximate indoor area and the type of cleaning you are after: those two answers do not change the price, they let us check whether the number of days is right.

Three examples, worked out the way the calculator does it:

• apartment, 1 day, no extra help: 800 MAD incl. VAT
• apartment, 1 day, 1 extra person: 800 + 250 = 1,050 MAD incl. VAT
• villa, 2 days, 1 extra person each day: 2 × 1,200 + 1 × 2 × 250 = 2,900 MAD incl. VAT

Extra help is counted per day: one extra person over two days is twice 250 MAD. If the confirmed priorities need more, we tell you, and you decide.

Amounts are indicative, in dirhams including VAT, based on the conditions you declare. The scope and the price are confirmed after photos or a visit, and no surcharge is incurred without your agreement. 1. A four-step estimate: property type, approximate area, type of cleaning, any terrace, number of days and extra people, water and electricity available.
2. Date and contact details: a date from tomorrow onwards, flexible or not, then confirmed with our team.
3. Summary, then WhatsApp: the message is pre-filled; it only leaves when you press Send. Nothing is stored before that.
4. Photos: attach 3 to 5 photos — overall views, priority rooms, access.
5. Confirmation of the priorities, the date and the price. Replies seven days a week

House cleaning is not spread evenly across the year in Marrakech: it concentrates before Ramadan, before Eid and before large family gatherings. Those are the weeks when dates go first.

Two practical tips:

• request your days two to three weeks before the date you are aiming at
• if you are also having a sofa or a rug cleaned, schedule it first: drying takes half a day to a full day, sometimes more
