Our professional equipment
A machine cleans nothing on its own. What decides the result is the setting, the consumable fitted to it, and the moment you choose not to use it at all.
In short
EPUREVA works in Marrakech with five families of equipment: a low-speed rotary machine for post-construction floors, a hot-water extraction unit for sofas, mattresses and rugs treated in the home, a water-fed pole for glass up to 5 metres from the ground, fine-filtration vacuums for building dust, and a pressure washer we rarely take out. The company has neither a cherry picker nor any rope access capability.
Why this page names no brand
Naming a brand is easy, and that is exactly why it proves nothing: the fleet changes, a machine breaks down, a model is replaced, and the page is lying the next day.
What genuinely commits us is the function asked of the equipment and the technical characteristic that makes it possible: a rotation speed, an injection temperature, a filtration class, a working height. Those are the values that appear on your intervention protocol, surface by surface, and that you can hold us to if the result is not there. The protocol is written before the first move.
If you want the named list of the fleet for a tender file, it is supplied to you in writing with the quotation. It simply has no place on a page that has to stay true in six months.
Low-speed rotary machine — it is the pad that works, not the machine
The rotary machine is the most differentiating piece of equipment on a post-construction job, and the most dangerous in hands that are in a hurry.
The principle: a single plate turns at low speed, which produces a constant mechanical effort without heating the surface. High speed is for burnishing, not for lifting residue: on limestone it burns the polish.
The real setting is the consumable fitted under the plate, chosen according to the hardness of the surface and the residue targeted:
- a soft pad, white or beige, for bringing back shine on a sound surface
- an intermediate pad, red or green, for greasy build-up on a hard surface
- an aggressive pad, black, reserved for accumulated layers on a resistant floor — never on polished marble, never on travertine
- a bristle brush for a textured surface where a flat pad cannot reach into the relief: bejmat, terracotta, bush-hammered concrete
- a diamond pad for surface work on limestone, working progressively through the grits
The choice is made once the material has been identified and is proved on a reference area. On a post-construction job, every floor other than standard tiles — marble, bejmat, tadelakt, polished concrete, stone, zellige, wood — is 30 MAD/m² incl. VAT, and the treatment is adapted to the material: not every floor can be crystallised, and neither sanding nor repair is included. The detail is on traditional floors.
Hot-water extraction — the only machine whose result the client sees live
On a textile, the unit injects a warm solution into the fibre under pressure, then vacuums it straight back with the dirt it has released. Three parameters are set, and they depend on the fabric, not on the operative's habits:
- the injection pressure, reduced on fragile fibres and untreated fabrics,
- the temperature, never high on a protein stain that it would cook into the fibre,
- the amount of water applied, which decides drying time — half a day to a full day, sometimes longer depending on the fabric, its thickness and ventilation.
The advantage is not only technical: the recovery tank is visible. It is black on the first pass and clear again on the last. It is the only item where the proof of the work is immediate and does not rest on anyone's word.
The same unit treats L-shaped and U-shaped sofas, mattresses and rugs — see all the upholstery services. It touches neither leather nor faux leather, on which injected water passes through the seams and swells the foam. On a delicate fabric — wool, silk, velvet — the method is confirmed on photos.
Water-fed pole — up to 5 metres, from the ground
Mains water carries dissolved minerals. Drying on a pane, they leave the white mark everybody knows. Water passed through deionising resin carries none: the glass dries by itself, with no squeegee and no wiping, and that is what makes working at height from the ground possible.
The brush at the head of the pole releases the deposit, the pure water rinses, the glass air-dries. Up to 3 metres, glass reachable from the ground is at the base price. Between 3 and 5 metres, the pole works from the ground, with a +25% surcharge, and feasibility is confirmed on photos: the foot of the glazing must be clear — no planting, no pool, no vehicle, no change of level. The surcharge does not guarantee that the glass can be reached.
Above 5 metres, we do not take the job. We have neither a cherry picker nor ropes, we hire neither and we do not subcontract that access: the limit is stated as soon as we see the photos.
The base prices are those of window cleaning: 75 MAD incl. VAT per window up to 2 m², 150 MAD incl. VAT per patio door up to 4 m², 400 MAD minimum call-out charge — see window cleaning in Marrakech.
Fine filtration — what separates a site vacuum from a household one
A household vacuum does not fail for lack of power. It fails because it puts back into the room what it has just picked up, and because its filter clogs within minutes on mineral dust.
Building dust is not household dust: it is plaster, cement, cutting silica, hard abrasive particles, in very fine grain sizes. Three requirements follow:
- fine filtration on the outlet, without which the room is coated in a white film an hour after the machine has been through,
- a robust tank body and a large-diameter hose, which does not block on a lump of mortar,
- wet-and-dry operation, essential for recovering the rinsing water from a floor.
It is also why vacuuming always comes before any washing: pushing a mop across dry mineral dust manufactures an abrasive slurry and scratches the very floor you claim to be cleaning.
Pressure washing — effective, and rarely the right answer
The pressure washer is the most requested and the most misused tool there is. It is not set by pressure alone: the type of nozzle, the working distance and the angle of attack account for most of the result, and most of the damage.
We do not sell it as a separate service: no facades, no boundary walls, no car parks. The only outdoor surfaces we treat are the terraces of a post-construction job — 10 MAD/m² incl. VAT on standard tiles, 30 MAD/m² incl. VAT on another surface, and on the roof only if the terrace is flat, protected and reached by a staircase. See terraces.
What it damages, and what we refuse to treat that way:
- a grout line less than four weeks old, which a lance held too close blows out
- a fragile render or a tadelakt, which loses its skin
- timber joinery or recent paintwork
- a glazing seal, where the water gets behind and stays there
Consumables, products and colour coding
The visible equipment is only part of the story. The rest fits in a crate and matters just as much to the result:
- Colour-coded microfibres by zone — washrooms, kitchen, general surfaces, glass — to prevent any transfer from a contaminated zone to a clean one.
- Squeegees with fresh rubbers for glass, changed as soon as a grain of sand is suspected: a worn rubber permanently scratches a new pane.
- Scraper blades held at a constant angle, never on coated glass.
- Certified products, chosen by family — alkaline, neutral, enzymatic, solvent-based — and diluted according to the protocol sheet. No acid on a limestone-based surface.
- No black soap as a finish to give a shine: that is what leaves a floor greasy and covered in marks the next morning.
We bring the equipment and the products; all you need to provide is water, power and access to the surfaces. The list of products used appears on the quotation, and what we guarantee about their use is written in our commitments. The same colour coding applies during a day of standard housekeeping.

Frequently asked questions
What equipment does EPUREVA use on a job in Marrakech?
Five families: a low-speed rotary machine with pads chosen according to the hardness of the surface, a hot-water extraction unit for sofas, mattresses and rugs treated in the home, a water-fed pole for glass up to 5 metres from the ground, a wet-and-dry vacuum with fine filtration, and a pressure washer, rarely used. The settings chosen appear on the quotation.
How high can you clean windows without scaffolding?
Up to 5 metres, always from the ground. Up to 3 metres it is the base price; between 3 and 5 metres, with a pole supplied with pure water, a +25% surcharge applies and feasibility is confirmed on photos. Above that we do not take the job — we own no access machine, we hire none and we do not subcontract that access.
How do you choose the pad fitted to the rotary machine?
By the hardness of the surface and the residue to be removed: a soft pad to bring back shine, an intermediate pad for greasy build-up on a hard surface, an aggressive pad reserved for resistant floors and never used on polished marble or travertine, a bristle brush on textured surfaces, a diamond pad worked progressively through the grits on limestone. The choice is validated on a reference area.
Why do you name no machine brand on this page?
Because a fleet changes and a page that names models is lying six months later. What commits EPUREVA are the technical characteristics written into the intervention protocol: rotation speed, injection temperature and pressure, filtration class, working height. The named list of the fleet is supplied in writing with the quotation for a tender file.
Is a household vacuum enough after building work?
No, and the problem is not power. Building dust is mineral, very fine and abrasive: it clogs a household filter within minutes and comes back out into the room, which is coated in a white film an hour later. It takes fine filtration on the outlet, a large-diameter hose and wet-and-dry operation.
Do you use the pressure washer on every outdoor surface?
No. It is ruled out on a grout line less than four weeks old, which a lance held too close blows out, on a fragile render or a tadelakt that loses its skin, on timber joinery or recent paintwork, and close to a glazing seal. On those surfaces the work is done with a brush and a suitable product, more slowly.
Do you have a cherry picker or a rope access team?
No, neither, and we hire neither. It is a limit we own and it is written down: our means of access at height is the water-fed pole, up to 5 metres from the ground. Above that, or when the foot of the glazing offers no stable footing, we turn the job down and say so as soon as we see the photos, rather than promise glass we cannot reach.
