Our work in Marrakech

A before-and-after gallery is the easiest format in this trade to fake. Here are the rules we hold ourselves to so that a photograph published here proves something.

In short

EPUREVA publishes only photographs of jobs actually carried out in Marrakech, taken from the same spot, at the same framing and under the same light before and after the intervention, dated and located by district. No stock-library image, no retouched photograph and no client logo without written agreement appears on this site.

What a photograph has to prove to earn its place here

A before-and-after is worth nothing unless the two images are comparable. Five conditions, all of which must be met:

  1. Same viewpoint, same focal length, same camera height. An "after" taken closer or from another angle proves nothing.
  2. Same light. A "before" shot against the light and an "after" shot in full sun manufacture a result that does not exist.
  3. No retouching. No pushed contrast, no saturation, no straightening. The original format is kept.
  4. Date and district, stated in the caption. A job with no place and no date is an illustration, not evidence.
  5. A descriptive and distinct alt for each image, describing what is actually visible — not "before" and "after".

It is the same standard as the one applied to quality control at the end of an intervention: what cannot be verified is not published.

The jobs we will show, and the ones we will never show

What belongs here, in order of demonstrative value:

  • A post-construction clean on a traditional floor, where the before-and-after gap is the most striking and the technical risk the highest: see the post-construction silo.
  • Marble veiled by cement haze, then brought back clear.
  • A post-construction patio door with its films, its labels and its plaster splashes, or a shop window before opening: the window cleaning detail.
  • An L-shaped or U-shaped sofa, a mattress or a rug treated by hot-water extraction, with the tank of extracted water as proof: the upholstery silo.

What will never appear here: the recognisable interior of an occupied home, a document or letter legible in shot, a face, a number plate, an identifiable shop sign without agreement, and any image bought from a stock library. A stock photo on a case studies page is a lie by default.

Why no client logo appears on this site

Displaying the logo of a hotel, a developer or a retail chain requires their written agreement, covering the use, the medium and the duration. Without that agreement, displaying it is an unauthorised use of a distinctive sign, whatever the reality of the work done.

Many companies in this sector do not concern themselves with it. We prefer the solution that is just as informative without exposing anyone: the anonymised reference. "A developer on the route de l'Ourika, 14 units handed over in two batches" tells a professional reader exactly what they want to know, without committing a client who asked for nothing.

Named references will appear only with the corresponding written agreement, and will then be treated as what they are: a negotiated consideration, not something owed.

How a job is documented on site

Photographic documentation is not a communications exercise: it serves the joint record first.

  • On arrival, pre-existing defects are photographed — scratch, chip, missing grout line, discolouration, stone already attacked by acid. That record protects both parties.
  • During, the reference areas treated on sensitive floors are photographed before approval.
  • At the end, the same viewpoints as on arrival are taken again, at the same settings.

It is that series, and only that series, that can yield a publishable before-and-after. It is never published without the agreement of the owner or the manager of the property. The framework for this record is described on the guarantees page.

There is no gallery here, and here is where to look

The five conditions above are hard enough that a compliant series has to be produced rather than found in a phone camera roll. We would rather publish a page that explains what it refuses than a page furnished with images that prove nothing.

The jobs themselves do not depend on us to be read. A post-construction clean, a stained sofa brought back, a mattress treated at home: each of those job types appears in a public review left by the client themselves on our Google Business Profile.

Those are texts we can neither write nor take down, and that is exactly what gives them their value. Some describe services we no longer offer today; they stay online, since we are not the ones who write them. They are read here.

A review stays a review. It says a job took place and how it felt; it gives neither the exact date, nor the district, nor the property type, nor the floor type, nor the protocol used. That is precisely what separates a client's feedback from a documented case study, and why the first will never stand in for the second on this page.

For a case comparable to yours, writing remains the fastest route: tell us what you have to deal with from the quotation page, and we will describe a similar job, its difficulty, the protocol chosen and its duration. Everything else that can be verified about us is already published: the price grid incl. VAT, the equipment and its settings and the exact perimeter of the services.

Frequently asked questions

Why does your case studies page show no before-and-after gallery?

Because a before-and-after is worth nothing unless both images are taken from the same spot, at the same focal length, at the same height and under the same light, with no retouching, with a date and a district in the caption.

A series that fails those five conditions does not go up here, and a stock-library image would be a lie by default. The jobs themselves are read in the public reviews left on our Google Business Profile.

Can I see a job comparable to mine before entrusting ours to you?

Yes, in writing. Describe the property, the floor type and the condition, and we will describe a comparable case handled in Marrakech: the difficulty encountered, the protocol chosen, the duration and the surcharges that applied. It is more useful than a photograph, and it exposes no client.

Do you publish the name or logo of the businesses you work for?

No, except with written agreement covering the use, the medium and the duration. Failing that, the reference is anonymised: property type, district, volume and nature of the job. That wording informs a professional reader without making unauthorised use of a client's distinctive sign.

Do you retouch photographs before publishing them?

Never: no contrast, no saturation, no straightening, no reframing between the before and the after. The files are kept in their original format and converted for the web with no colour correction. Retouching, even lightly, manufactures a result that did not exist on site.

What are the photographs you take during an intervention for?

For the joint record first: pre-existing defects are photographed on arrival, the reference areas before approval, and the same viewpoints are taken again at the end. That series serves the client relationship before it serves communications, and it is published only with the agreement of the owner or the manager.
